The Stargazer Pod is another innovative new idea from the design team at Anthropods. The pod has been specially created for the world’s dark sky designated areas* but is equally at home in any location where low visual impact accommodation is required.
Environmentally friendly, unobtrusively practical
Brian Cox eat your heart out, the Stargazer Cygnus and Orion bring a constellation of new thinking to outdoor living, glamping and hotel space.
Featuring 2 or 4 berth options, every Stargazer enjoys a full wet room (WC, shower and basin), galley kitchen and raised beds bringing you closer to the night’s skies.
The Stargazer’s optional, partial sedum roof line ensures that the pod blends into the natural environment rather than standing out. The added option to semi-sink the pod underground further reduces the visual impact.
The Stargazer maximises floor area and the close-stacked pods create high density accommodation; the clever glazed roof configuration ensures that occupants in each pod cannot be overlooked by their neighbour, ensuring maximum privacy and enjoyment of the shimmering heavens.
Exterior finishes can be specified in timber cladding or a range of aluminium/steel galvanised standing seam in any colour you choose.
Don’t expect normal
Anthropods culture is about great design and innovative ideas combined with high quality, attention to detail manufacture. Expect the same with the Stargazer’s stylish, hand-crafted interiors, fun raised bed spaces representing the best in British design with an extra twist of originality.
Star Gazer - think micro dwelling
Originally created as hospitality unit, interest has already been shown that the Stargazer would make ideal low-cost student accommodation, office incubator units for campus start-up businesses or a garden office/studio.
